Since its first concert in 1954, the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra — Osesp — has become an indissociable part of Brazilian culture, promoting profound social and cultural transformations. In addition to the orchestra, Osesp has a symphonic choir, chamber music groups, a music score publisher and a vibrant digital platform that includes several educational programmes.

With 105 Brazilian and international musicians and led by Music Director and Chief Conductor Thierry Fischer, Osesp is one of the most significant orchestras of the Global South.
Osesp Choir
The group performs a vast musical repertoire, from a cappella music to symphonic genres. The choir focuses special attention on 20th- and 21st-century works as well as Brazilian music.
